Data Robotics today announced the release of Drobo Firmware 1.0.3, which is now available for download through the Drobo dashboard. Unlike the firmware update unveiled last month, 1.0.3 is focused on resolving a smaller set of issues being reported by users here in the DroboSpace forums.

Most importantly, 1.0.3 should resolve a problem causing Drobo to pause data transfer every ten minutes or so, which has apparently gotten more noticable since the last update. The relase notes also mentions a fix for an issue that can cause Drobo to endlessly reboot itself.
