RE: 3 TB drives!
So, does drobo support new 3TB drives? Is new LBA a problem or not?

RE: 3 TB drives!
Looks like Windows XP is going to have problems with them. Drobo use their own format on disks so I would hope they won't have any issues.

Will be interested to see how the testing goes once the disks are available.

DroboS with 1 x 2TB WD20EARS, 1 x 2TB WD20EADS, 2 x 1.5TB WD15EADS connected via FireWire800
DroboPro with a mixture of WD and Seagate Disks of various sizes connected via iSCSI

RE: 3 TB drives!
Well, the DroboFS uses EFI as its native partitioning format so DRI have been thinking ahead.

EFI is the replacement for the "standard PC" disk partitioning format which was designed to support obscenely large drives.

10/10.
