.... does TM work as expected and deletes older data to make room for new data? If so, doesn't that mean there will always be a red light on at least one of the drives...

It seems that plugging in the drobo (and partitioning as guid HFS+ w/Journaling), doesn't show up as a Time Machine supported volume on a Leopard Machine .....? The only way it shows up to be...

I formatted the drobo to 8.0TB to allow me to expand the volume in the future (i don't want multiple virtual disks, just one big one, plus time machine only supports "one" volume). Right now...
