Hi, just as a follow up I got two WD 500GB and now the vibrating buzzing noise is gone.

Just got a Drobo and just my luck got two Samsung HD501LJ 500GB drives. Its lovely and quiet but out of the blue the high pitched Bzzzz starts. Think I'm going to get two WD...
