It worked!! Just needed a reseat - i just hope the data stripped across the drives ok, who knows then the drive came loose? Would drobo be clever enough to know the stripping didnt complete...

VLC As it supports ISO rips (VLC Played it fine before the Samsungs were added)

Every film blips a few seconds every time without fail - the data is fine as they all work fine when copied to the desktop and played from there. all HDD's are SATA2

Hey, this is odd I have just updated to the new firmware, and my blipping has stopped! also, my free space has gone from 800GB to 1.01TB Why would either of these things happen?

i installed it on all 3 vista pc's in the house - took 30 mins each. much better improvement with the status of the transfer, it gives an ETA in seconds rather than minutes!

yes, i have installed SP1 and after a reboot it is now copying at 10MBPS which is a massive improvement, still not the 20 i would lilke wireless has gone down to 2MBPS from 15...
